“I am honored to serve as Chair of NLBMDA and to help advance the association’s work on behalf of lumber and building material dealers across the country,” said Brock. “NLBMDA provides our industry with an important voice in Washington and I look forward to working with our members, federated associations and industry partners to advance practical federal policy solutions that support dealers, their employees, and the communities they serve.”
The 2026–2027 NLBMDA officers were also announced and are:
- Vice Chair: Chris Hegeman, Manager, Bliffert Lumber, Milwaukee, Wisconsin
- Treasurer: Sandy Zelka, Chief Financial Officer, Curtis Lumber Company, Ballston Spa, New York
- Past Chair: Mark Zemrowski, Chief Operating Officer, Von Tobel Corporation, Valparaiso, Indiana
“Carin brings a tremendous depth of legal, business, and industry experience to this role, along with a strong understanding of the issues facing lumber and building material dealers,” said Jonathan M. Paine, NLBMDA President & CEO. “Her election is also an important milestone for our association. For only the second time in NLBMDA’s history, we have elected a woman to serve as Chair. I look forward to supporting Carin and the entire leadership team as we continue to strengthen NLBMDA’s advocacy, membership, and value to dealers across the country.”
